Darci Lynne, Oklahoma's sensational ventriloquist is bringing her signature show to the Fox Theatre!

Darci Lynne Farmer was born in Oklahoma City in 2004 and is a ventriloquist and singer. She showed interest in singing at an early age and was inspired to try ventriloquism after seeing a young ventriloquist perform at the International Scholarship Pageant hosted by Cinderella (a youth development scholarship program that offers many opportunities for achievement and recognition to deserving children, teens and young adults). She started working with ventriloquism and vocal coaches in and in 2015, she took first place in the junior division of Oklahoma's Got Talent. She cites ventriloquist, impressionist, comedian, and singer Terry Fator as her biggest influence and her breakthrough came when she won first place on the 12th season of America's Got Talent. Some of her most well known puppet characters are Petunia (a singing rabbit who thinks she’s a diva), Oscar (a stuttering Motown mouse who has a crush on Mel B.), Edna Doorknocker (a naughty old lady with a crush on Simon Cowell), Katie (a sassy cowgirl who yodels), Okie (a yellow duck who sometimes impersonates Elvis Presley), Scarlett (a sassy debutante fox), and Nigel (a very smart British bird). She's also performed on NBC’s Little Big Shots, Ellen, and the Today Show.
