Sensational comedians Mike Epps, Rickey Smiley, Michael Blackson, and Don DC Curry are bringing their indelible comedy to the Fox Theatre!

Michael Elliot Epps was born in Indianapolis (Indiana) in 1974 and is a stand up comedian, actor, film producer, writer, and rapper. He began his comedic journey by doing stand up routines as a teenager and he eventually moved to Atlanta where he worked at the Comedy Act Theater. He then moved to Brooklyn and his breakthrough came in 1995 when he joined the Def Jam Comedy tour. He went on to star in two of HBO's Def Comedy Jam broadcasts and he made his movie debut in the 1997 drama film Strays (written, directed, produced by, and starring Vin Diesel). His best known role is that of Day-Day Jones in the 2000 stoner comedy film Next Friday (written, produced by, and starring Ice Cube) and he’s also renowned for the role of 'Black Doug' in the 2009 smash hit comedy film, The Hangover. That year, he also released his debut comedy album (Funny Bidness: Da Album) and hosted the BET Hip Hop Awards. He’s also had a stellar career in television with roles in shows such as The Sopranos, 106 and Park, The Boondocks, Wild 'n Out, Uncle Buck, and many others.
